Kim and the Cinders is inspired by american roots music, blues, country, folk og psychedelic – And names like Al Perry, Hank Williams, Hasil Adkins, Johnny Cash, Jacques Dutronc, Jefferson Airplane, Leonard Cohen, T Model Ford, Giant Sand, Canned Heat, yes even Suicide.

Country boy Kim Kix born in Monastir, Tunesia in 1971.
Grew up in Northern Africa and Denmark.
Educated woodworker.
Started his musical career in 1993 with debut album release of the Godless Wicked Creeps, famous danish trio who released four full lenght albums and a bunch of 7" before calling it a day in 2001.
2001 Kim Kix released debut album "lemon half moon" with band, Powersolo formed in 1998. Powersolo has toured extensively since and released three full lenght albums.
Second release "it's raceday and your pussy is gut!" from 2004 features the black godfather and the living legend, Mr. Andre Williams.
Latest release ”Egg” also features guest stars such as Dorthe Gerlach, (Hush) Jon Spencer, (Blues Explosion) and Martin Stone of the legendary UK bands, The Action and Mighty Baby. Kim Kix also plays doublebass in Jon Spencer and Matt Verta-Ray (Speedball Baby) New Rockabilly Outfit. Heavy Trash.
Kim and The Cinders is Kim Kix's dark side project.
